HEAD CHEF 

Woy Woy Fishermen's Wharf is an award winning seafood co - op & restaurant based in Woy Woy 1hr north of Sydney. Owned by three generations of the Cregan - Clayton family it is situated on a wharf over scenic Brisbane Water. We are committed to the highest quality locally caught and farmed sustainable seafood and present it as simply as possible. It's a great place to enjoy a cold beer or wine with some oysters and watch the pelicans.

We're looking for an enthusiastic, young yet experienced chef to join our kitchen team. We're looking for someone with creativity to help build on our menu. A great chance for someone looking to work with the highest quality seafood fresh from our own co-op. We are looking for a motivated person who is used to working in a busy kitchen and up for the creative challenge.

Will be expected to be able to cook for large numbers of people, work independently as well as part of the team, have excellent organisational & prep skills. Will be expected to work from established menu and create specials & desserts.We're based in Woy Woy on the central coast so are looking for a local or someone after a sea change.Week & weekend shifts.
Pay will be determined on experience.

SEAFOOD MANAGER

Woy Woy Fishermen's Wharf is an award winning seafood market based in Woy Woy on the Central Coast for over 40 years. With a focus on sustainable product our goal is to raise awareness and provide the best local seafood produce.

A SEAFOOD MANAGER with leadership experience and all round skills required for busy seafood market (also servicing restaurant and takeaway). Must have commercial filleting expertise, flair for seafood display and happy, polite customer relations. Will be expected to work closely with our kitchen team in developing new menus based around seasonal product.
Applicants will be expected to show:• Excellent seafood retail and product knowledge
• Aptitude for seafood ordering & stock control
• Excellent Food, Health & Safety standards
• Ability to organise & lead staff
• Knowledge of tills 

Weekend availability essential. Pay rates in line with Retail award and will be considered on experience.

APPRENTICE CHEF / SHORT ORDER COOK

Woy Woy Fishermen's Wharf is offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced young shorthand/short order cook or apprentice chef. A dynamic environment with a cool and relaxed service ethic. We're looking for someone with creativity to help build on our menu and who isn't afraid of hard work. A great education opportunity for someone looking to work with a team dedicated to showcasing the highest quality sustainable seafood fresh from our own co-op. We're after a team player with an all rounder mentality required to realise your potential and really make a difference.

FILLETER & SEAFOOD RETAIL ASSISTANT with experience and all round skills required for busy seafood market (also servicing restaurant and takeaway). Must have commercial filleting expertise, flair for seafood display and happy, polite customer relations.
